The First Spanish Speaking Cannabis Education Event Hits Miami

Miami Dade College, Truelieve, and CannaFamilia join to educate the Spanish-Speaking community on the benefits of cannabis as a natural treatment for chronic medical conditions.

MIAMI, FLORIDA I November 8, 2019 (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) CANNAFAMILIA, is launching with a FREE 3-part event series designed to break through the stigma of cannabis and to educate on its medicinal benefits in Spanish speaking communities.

CannaFamilia presented by Trulieve and hosted at Miami Dade College, North Campus, November 15, 2019 is a Spanish-speaking event for anyone looking to learn more about how to incorporate natural, non-addictive treatment to their current health routine.

 

Speakers will include Dr. Alonso Martin del Campo, MD, founder of Personalized Cannabis Care; he will discuss his one-on-one approach to help patients overcome confusion and choose the right medication and dose for their conditions.

 

Elisabeth Hayes, RN, Director of Compassionate Care Nursing Services, a former oncology nurse will speak about the stigmas surrounding the plant by discussing her personal healing story and her current experiences with her patients.

 

This will be a unique and inclusive environment for Miamians to understand how to

incorporate cannabis therapy into their lives. The event will also include live entertainment,

testimonials, expositors and cannabis card pre-screening by Miracle Leaf for people with

Among other speakers will be Danielle Ceruti Espinel , founder of Cannalatino , cannabis chef, patient and author will be autographing her new book “Lo que + Varias Recetas” What I know + Lots of Recipes”- complementary to the first 50 people who register for the CannaFamilia.

 

At the end of the night, Itawe Correa from the Grammy-nominated band Locos por Juana will take the stage for a musical performance.
